Peter Weigle came to me with a photo of a cardboard wedge shape standing on the rack of a bike. Would I be interested in making a bag like this? Of course. I could see immediately that it was going to be a great design. With a short deadline, we dialed it in and had the bag ready for Peter to give it a shakedown at the 2018 D2R2, and the bag passed with flying colors. Peter also wanted a pencil pocket to fit the bag profile as an interior storage option.
This is the same design, made of Dimension Polyant x-10 fabric in royal blue with black nylon trim, nickel hardware and a SOLAS reflective stripe on front pocket flap. x-10 is amazingly lightweight yet has the tactile beauty of cotton canvas. Side sleeves, pleated front pocket, elastic closures, and backstop sleeve.
