Waxwing-Weigle Sportif
This innovative bag was designed by Peter Weigle and brought to life in a collaboration between Peter and myself here at Waxwing. Peter’s goal: have a shape that lightened up the bag both visually and in weight and didn’t bury his lovely racks while maintaining the usefulness of the map case found on standard bags. Lesser-used items like tools and a spare tube sit at the bottom of the bag, keeping the weight low and centered. Jackets, food and other frequently needed stuff goes in the upper portion of the bag.

The bag features side sleeves, large pleated front pocket, elastic closures, D-rings for carrying strap, backstop sleeve and a map case. Elastic closures and inner flap round out the design. Choose your color, hardware and we'll get your bag on it's way to you.
Optional Pencil Pocket sits in the top back of bag for a bit of covered storage that's easy to access while moving (held in place with a band of velcro, sot it's removeable) $30
